The objective of the HORUS Academy ongoing outreach is multi-tiered. First, we are redefining mentor protege relationships. Our team is fully committed to our HORUS Academy apprenticeship program, which combines paid employment, supervised on the job training, and specialized instruction to enhance participant’s career options and opportunities. Our ongoing Project Workforce Development helps us stay connected to our community and create local economic stability and sustainability. Our program is devoted to tapping into the local market to infuse workforce opportunities that highlight leadership opportunities for women and traditionally marginalized communities. We also offer a second chance program to previously incarcerated individuals, providing apprenticeships and on-the-job training opportunities. Over 90% of the HORUS Construction workforce is in the state of Florida, and 100% of the HORUS team makes over the average livable wage!
